Temptations

If we have wisdom, knowledge and education;

Who’s to say we can’t teach the younger generation?

Sometimes you feel lonely, sad, and life seems bad;

It doesn’t matter what they say just be glad.

The world of temptations, is only money-making;

Pushing here, and pushing there,

Just say no, they won’t care.

You can have pleasure, fun, excitement too;

Sky T.V, D.V.D. Video and the T.V,

If that’s not enough get yourself out;

Go and join the local Scouts,

And if that’s not enough, go to Thorpe Park,

Roller coasters ride, what a delight!

Slush puppies, candyfloss, toffee apples too;

Ooh! What fun, and its cheaper too.

What’s the pleasure, in the pain;

In the long run, it’s no gain.

GCSE’S, HND’S and DEGREE’S;

Education, and your imagination,

What a great combination!

If you think your cool, smoking a spliff or two;

What could be better, then the PS2,

Or the latest mobile phone, with the Internet too.

It’s still your choice at the end of the day;

Have common sense, don’t give way,

TO THE TEMPTATIONS OF TODAY!
